Diwali 2006
The long overdue diwali kolam. I love windows and especially when its framed with a person or thing or brilliant hues in the sky. So this kolam was created with all that in mind. Before I could add the white paste borders, Mr cat did some damages n it had to be repaired.

The last one was done half asleep without drawing or any idea so it looks grainy.

I agree about the window, there's something about a window for sure, specially when it frames someone.

Hi, your kolams are very beautiful and I've been following your blog for sometime now. You take excellant, amazing and wonderful pictures.

What do you use to do these kolams? I know the white ones are rice flour paste, but what about the colored ones? They don't look like colored rice to me.

Regards,

Ray G
